Grants are available to local not-for-profit groups for projects which test new ways of creating, using and sharing community knowledge to tackle local and national challenges in the UK.
The Fund is providing a total pot of £950,000 to support up to 34 grants.
- In Phase 1, development grants of up to £10,000 will be awarded
- In Phase 2, a small number of larger grants from £50,000 up to £100,000 will be awarded
This is an open fund, prioritising research and innovation under the following themes:
- Community safety and resilience.
- Environment and sustainability.
Phase 1 funding should be used to support grantees to create the conditions for research and innovation and to develop and begin early testing of their ideas.
