The government has allocated funding to twenty-eight groups via the Windrush Day Grant Scheme to finance arts, educational, and sporting initiatives honouring the Windrush generation.
With £480,000 in funding for projects in England, communities will celebrate Windrush Day on June 22nd with events and activities organised by community-led organisations from June 8th to August 21st.
