The Carers Partnership is launching a social media campaign to help informal carers by promoting relevant services. They aim to advertise services that benefit carers, (whether they are specifically for informal carers or not), especially from providers who typically don’t reach a broad audience.
To facilitate this, they are creating a Facebook platform where services can post messages and adverts. The Carers Partnership will manage this page and share its content across their social media networks according to a set schedule. You can either join this network to help spread the messages or simply forward any information you want carers to know about your services.
If you’re interested in participating, either by sharing messages or advertising your services, please email amy.tristman@nhs.net to discuss and set this up.
Informal carers are defined as individuals of any age who, without pay, care for a child, relative, partner, friend, or neighbour with an illness, disability, frailty, or substance misuse problem. The care provided can be personal, emotional, practical, or supervisory.
