Application Deadline: 16 October 2024, (12pm)
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust awards grants that support the Armed Forces community.
The Trust has launched “Free from Fear,” a funding programme to help those affected by domestic abuse within the Armed Forces community. The programme will provide a few targeted grants to projects that can demonstrate their ability to reduce domestic abuse or prevent it long-term. Applicants must show evidence of the need for their project and explain why their approach will create lasting change.
The programme will address both new and ongoing challenges and aims to remove barriers, making it easier for those affected by domestic violence to access support.
Free from Fear will support projects that:
- Deliver preventative and educational initiatives on domestic abuse in Armed Forces communities.
- Provide clear access to support and help victims recognise and report abuse.
- Create long-term improvements to meet the changing needs of survivors.
Grants of £75,000 to £150,000 are available for projects lasting up to two years.
