This new programme offers grants to address the specific needs of serving women, focusing on improving their mental and physical health and wellbeing. It aims to help serving women make informed choices and access services that enhance their quality of life by providing better access to activities and support.
The “Service Women: Seen and Heard” initiative supports projects that achieve one or more of the following goals:
- Helping women find activities or advice to improve their wellbeing, whether preventively or during a crisis.
- Providing more options for women who may not know where to seek help for their unique issues.
Grants available: Organisations can either apply for up to £50,000 for one year or up to £100,000 for two years.
Applications from registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and Armed Forces Units are invited and encouraged.
