This is a government funding to improve the energy performance of social homes in England that are currently below Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) band C, and to upgrade to it to a band C standard or above.
Bid Applications for the Wave 2.2 is expected to open in mid-November to:
• local authorities
• combined authorities
• registered providers of social housing
• registered charities that own social housing
All eligible organisations can apply directly as a single bidder or as the lead of a consortium.
Draft guidance and clarification questions have now been published. The final versions is also expected to be publish in mid-November 2023.
