Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
The Advocacy Team is excited to offer a series of FREE online training sessions designed for Special Educational Needs schools, colleges, and organisations supporting students with Disability Services benefits and grants.
The sessions will cover:
- Disability Living Allowance for Children (DLA Child): An overview of benefits available to children with disabilities.
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP): Understanding PIP, including the important transition from DLA Child to PIP at age 16.
- Access to Work: Guidance on how Access to Work can support students moving from secondary education to employment.
Each session will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, with plenty of time set aside for a live Q&A.
