The Department of Education have invited councils across the UK to bid for funding for a Special, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs school to be built in their area. We’re writing to you to find out your views on proposals for a new school to be built nearby. The proposed school would be to cater for up to 150 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
To find out more and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have, we’re planning to hold some drop-in sessions at Freeman Street Market on:
Tuesday 27th September from 10am to 1pm
Tuesday 4th October from 10am to 1pm
There will be local authority officers from both the special educational needs team and those involved in the application process to help answer any queries and listen to your views.
