Safer Streets: East Marsh Community Safety Wallet

Written and sent on behalf of North East Lincolnshire council:

Funding to boost community safety in the East Marsh area has been opened up for applications from community groups, thanks to the North East Lincolnshire Community Safety Partnership.

The scheme, launching today (Monday 31st October 2022), is offering grants of up to £7,500 to voluntary, community and not-for-profit organisations to help cut crime.

The fund is worth some £50,000 in total, with priority projects expected to design out crime, reduce or prevent acquisitive crime and anti-social behaviour, or make environmental improvements to reduce the fear and accessibility of crime.

Applications for round 1 funding close at 12pm (noon) on Monday 28th November 2022. A panel will meet on Thursday 1st December to consider applications, with a decision being announced the following day.
