Update from North East Lincolnshire Council:
The Safeguarding Children Partnership are delivering an inter-agency practice month for partner agencies which has been informed by learning from recent local safeguarding reviews. This is an opportunity to reflect and inform and strengthen inter-agency practice in the safeguarding system.
This practice month will present to you a series of workshops, which will clarify your roles and responsibilities within the safeguarding system and provide you with an understanding of the process of each stage.
This practice month will be delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams and focus on 4 areas of practice:
- Understanding Thresholds and Significant Harm
- Strategy Discussions and Section 47 Enquiries
- Child Protection Conferencing
- Roles and Responsibilities in Core Groups and Planning for Vulnerable Children
These workshops are available to all practitioners and managers working with adults, children and families in North East Lincolnshire. Please ensure you share with managers and practitioners within your service.
