Report reveals work behind the scenes to make communities safer

Written and sent on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council:

A report published earlier this month has lifted the curtain on joint efforts to keep our communities safer in North East Lincolnshire.

The Annual Report, published by the Community Safety Partnership, explores all the ways that the partnership – including North East Lincolnshire Council, Humberside Police, Yorkshire and Humber Integrated Care Board, Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, the Probation Service and other major organisations – are working with local residents to fight crime and anti-social behaviour.

In November last year, according to the report, a knife amnesty held across the Humber region saw between 800 and 1,000 knives handed in during a week-long knife amnesty.
