Remaining 30,000 plus households to receive £150 Government energy rebate

Written and sent on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council:

Thousands of householders, who paid their council tax by direct debit in April this year, have already received the Government’s £150 energy rebate into their bank accounts.

The remaining 30,000 plus eligible households in North East Lincolnshire who don’t pay by direct debit are now set to receive letters. These will be posted out in batches from the week commencing Monday June 6 – following the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend. They detail how those eligible households can get the rebate, which does not have to be repaid.

The letters will include a secure access code to enable people to receive the £150 through North East Lincolnshire Council’s website. People will need their 10-digit council tax account number, which starts with ‘55’ and is at the top right-hand side of their council tax bill, along with their bank details.
