The ECB has recently secured £100k of Funding from Sport England for the Cricket Network to support Afghan refugees settling into new communities. Our regional Cricket Board, Lincolnshire Cricket Board has the optional opportunity to design and submit an Action Plan to receive up to £5k of this national funding.
Previous similar pilots have been successful as a way of improving lives and connecting communities through cricket and the funding will be available throughout the year as there is an awareness that refugees can be relocated at any time.
