Phase 2 of the Research Engagement Network (REN) programme for Humber and North Yorkshire ICB

We are looking to work with VCSE organisations across the Integrated Care System (ICS) over the next six months to set up Research Ready Community (RRC) network of champions to support research and insight gathering within communities who don’t normally engage with research across the coastal patch.

Please see attached document that outlines the programme and how to get involved.

If this is something you would like to support, please let me know initially by email (by the 15th November) and then complete and submit an Expressions of Interest (EOI) by the 24th November.

Please note that due to short timescales for this project we will not be able to accept EOI’s after this date.

Hopefully, the attached document will provide the information needed to complete EOI but if you do have any questions then please get back to me by email / or phone.

There are different levels of VCSE engagement explained within the document but if you would prefer only to put forward a representative from your organisation to become a RRC Champion then there is no requirement to complete the EOI – just let me know by email at penny.butcher2@nhs.net

This is an exciting programme and the RRC network will give the nhs the opportunity to engage with unrepresented groups across the coastal area that do not typically participate in public and engagement groups.

We envisage that the community champions will reach out to these groups, listen to their concerns, and help to involve them in decision-making processes to help transform the future of healthcare service provision.

Thanks for your interest in the programme.

Look forward to hearing from you.
