North East Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership Governance Structure

Message on behalf of the North East Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership Independent Chair Chris Cook:

I have been the Independent Chair of the North East Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership since October 2022.

In that time, we have undertaken a review of the SCP governance arrangements, this has led to moving from having two Outcomes, “all children are and feel safe” and “safeguarding arrangements are effective” to the following priorities, based on data analysis and findings from local practice.

  1. Early Help
  2. Neglect
  3. Sexual Harm

In order to achieve the delivery of the priorities, the current SCP structure is being changed. This will ensure that all of the partner agencies are fully involved in achieving the priorities and in ensuring the effectiveness of local arrangements to safeguard children.

I have enclosed the revised SCP structure, the SCP Manager Helen Willis will be contacting agencies shortly to provide further details of the groups and to agree representation, which will be at both operational manager level and strategic management level
