North East Lincolnshire joins new outdoor festival for the Wolds

From the NELC Economy & Growth Team:

I am pleased to advise that North East Lincolnshire is now a partner of the brand new Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival planned for next year. Joining colleagues across the Lincolnshire Wolds including East Lindsey District Council, West Lindsey District Council, Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service, British Mountaineering Council, Heritage Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire CC and the Ramblers, the group are working collaboratively to develop the festival.

Taking place 1 May through to 6 June 2021, the event is the spiritual successor to the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival which ran for a number of years.  The six-week long event aims to showcase the Lincolnshire Wolds as a fantastic place to explore and enjoy the wide range of outdoor activities it has to offer.

The festival hopes to feature a wide range of outdoor pursuits including walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, archery, swimming, paddle boarding, golf, palates, yoga and much, much more.

I am writing to ask if you would like to get involved? Could you offer a taster activity or host an event that during the festival period?

Happy to chat about ideas etc please do get in touch as soon as possible as I know they are looking to get as much finalised this side of Christmas as possible.  We’re really looking forward to having North East Lincolnshire on the map with this great event.

Best wishes
