This training is available to anyone working with children, young people and families.
On this course you will explore:
- Child Sexual Exploitation and the journey to date,
- consider Child Criminal Exploitation,
- identifying children and young people who are subjected to this as victims of abuse.
You will also:
- learn the signs and symptoms and vulnerabilities of child exploitation and consider the grooming process for both CSE/CCE and the differences between the two, including the County Lines model.
- explore safeguarding mechanisms in place to support CSE/CCE and will have an introduction into contextualised safeguarding and the theory behind it.
- explore Modern Day Slavery and Trafficking and how these are applied to Child Exploitation, and you will consider screening tools and assessments as required.
This training is free of charge to the voluntary and community sector.
