Mental Health Support –  Reflective Practice, Counselling & Mental Health Awareness Lv2 course

As a result of the funding secured from the NEL Covid Grant Award, through consultation with the Mental Health Working Group, Cudox and YMCA are now able to offer the following free of charge:

Reflective Practice – offers the opportunity to explore and reflect on skills professional strengths and limitations, increase self-awareness, identify levels of stress and signs of burnout whilst being aware of personal issues. This is available for all professionals working in the VCSE sector who request it, so that those vital to working in NEL communities are being supported to carry out that work. One-hour sessions will start in early February.  Referrals must be made by a VCSE organisation.

Counselling – 50-minute sessions are also available for VCSE staff who need support additional to the above. Cudox are open to taking referrals immediately. These sessions can be arranged either by self-referral or referral through their VCSE organisation.

Mental Health Awareness Level 2 – Delivered by two qualified counsellors, a 6-hour course with certification. This can be facilitated online, in house or through course delivery at Centre 4. We will run four courses over 10 months with a maximum of 15 participants per course. This course will serve to upskill those who wish to volunteer for VCSE organisations or could serve as CPD for existing staff. To book on the course please email: or call 01472 236672
