Making connections, building resilience: the Yorkshire and Humber refugee integration strategy [February 2022]

This new strategy includes a focus on making connections and building resilience. It outlines priorities across 10 different areas and themes:

  • housing and environment
  • economic integration
  • health and wellbeing
  • community and belonging
  • families and young people
  • language and communication
  • information and data
  • service planning and provision
  • the voluntary and community sector
  • participation

The strategy aims to help different sectors and organisations from across the whole community to work together to eliminate barriers to integration, and improve the lives of refugees and asylum seekers living in the region.
