Sent on behalf of Lincs Inspire Ltd:

Lincs Inspire Limited is a registered charity, delivering a diverse range of cultural, sporting and leisure facilities and services across Lincolnshire.
The company has been operational since April 2013 and has gradually expanded to include five leisure centres, a football development centre, Grimsby Auditorium, four libraries and an arts and sports development service, all within North East Lincolnshire, and having a strong focus on improving health and well-being. Lincs Inspire Limited also operates the Hub (an Arts Council NPO and National Centre for Craft and Design) in Sleaford, and Whisby Natural World Centre, a visitor centre in the heart of a nature reserve.
As business gradually starts to return to more normal operations, we are delighted to see our customers once again benefiting from our services, especially improving levels of physical activity and enjoying social engagements that are so good for mental wellbeing too. Moving forward we are keen to expand our board of trustees and are interested to hear from local people who share our passion for culture, sports and leisure, and want to bring their expertise to the table to help shape the next steps in our journey. We are especially keen to hear from people with a background gained in either health related services, children’s development or having an interest in environmental improvements.
Becoming a trustee of Lincs Inspire will involve you in a charity that is committed to making a real difference to the lives of the local community through encouraging more people to become more active, more often. Our board meets 4-6 times per year and our trustees are encouraged to experience the range of services and events we provide.
The board is therefore seeking applications from enthusiastic individuals. This is a voluntary and unpaid role and a great opportunity to make a real difference within our local community.
If you would like to learn more about this opportunity please contact us via humanresources@lincsinspire.com and arrange an informal chat with our CEO, Sue Wells.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 30 April 2022.
