Julia and Hans Rausing Trust aims to support foodbanks on continuation to deliver their services and support beneficiaries despite the challenges of the cost-of-living crisis.
Funding is at the discretionary of the trust, however there is a minimum of £500.
To be eligible to apply, organisations must:
- Be not-for-profit and legally constituted.
- Run a foodbank that has been running for six months or more which regularly gives out emergency food parcels at least once each week.
- Have an annual income of between £25,000 and £1,000,000.
- Not have unrestricted reserves greater than one year’s running costs.
The organisation running the foodbank must have been established or registered as a not-for-profit organisation before 1 January 2020 and have at least one set of accounts.
