The Trust’s main objective is to help forcibly displaced people and their host communities to respond to climate change, and to help thos at acute risk of climate related displacement.
Grants of up to £30,000 are available.
The Trust funds projects that benefit at least one of the following three target groups:
- Forcibly displaced people and their host communities – Improving the lives of those forcibly displaced and help protect and restore the natural environment in which they live.
- Returnees and the communities they return to – Improving the lives of those who return after displacement and help protect and restore the natural environments of the places they return to.
- People at acute risk of displacement – Improve the lives of those at acute risk of displacement in ways that centre on protecting or restoring their local environments.
