J.A.C Trust – Climate Change and Displaced People Programme

Grants are intended to help forcibly displaced people and their host communities to respond and adapt to climate change by funding initiatives that will have a positive impact on their quality of life and on the natural environment.

Multi-year grants of up to £60,000 in total are available and the funds must be used within 36 months.

The funding is for projects that meet all of the following criteria:

  • Deliver tangible improvements in the quality of life of the people with whom the Trust works.
  • Have a positive impact on the natural environment (protection or restoration).
  • Focus on one forcibly displaced people and their host communities.
