We’re Right Here, the campaign for community power, has released its new proposal for a Community Power Act. The Act would give communities landmark legal rights over spaces, public services and spending. It would also introduce Community Covenants: power-sharing deals between councils and communities, and a national Commissioner to ensure community power was flourishing at every level.
