Infection Control Fund – does your organisation provide personal care in North East Lincolnshire?

North East Lincolnshire’s Adult Social Care department receives government funding through the Infection Control Fund. There is some element of discretion on how the funding can be used. It can include providing support on infection prevention and control measures to a broader range of care settings (for instance, community and day support services), supporting providers who face increased infection control costs as a consequence of their individual circumstances or due to effects of the pandemic, and other measures that the local authority could put in place to boost the resilience and supply of the adult social care workforce in their area to support effective infection control.

If your organisation provides personal care to individuals, the Adult Social Care team would like to hear from you as they are gathering a list of smaller providers who may be able to receive payments for assistance in the future. They are already in contact with larger providers so you do not need to register your interest if you have already received funding or support through this fund. You do not necessarily have to be CQC-registered.

If you think your organisation may be eligible for support, please email Amy Hallett at amy@nbforum.org.uk and we will pass the list of interested parties on to the Adult Social Care team.
