Impact of COVID-19 on Grassroots Activity Survey

Deadline 14th February 2021

The Sport and Recreation Alliance has commissioned the Sport Industry Research Centre (SIRC) at Sheffield Hallam University to estimate the impact of the lockdown resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic on the voluntary sector in sport and physical activity. The findings from this research will inform discussions with the government on the effectiveness of industry support and prospects for the phased return to organised sport and physical activity.

Please give the six themes in this survey your urgent attention and reply by the 14th of February, 2021. The survey is designed to be completed by someone with a working knowledge of your organisation’s operations on a day-to-day basis.

The information you provide will be treated in confidence and will be aggregated anonymously along with the responses received from other organisations, to be used only for the purposes of this project.
