Household Support Fund extended six months

The government has extended the Household Support Fund for six more months, providing an additional £421 million to help those households struggling in England with energy, food, and other essential costs until April 2025.

Councils can use this funding not only for emergency support but also for initiatives including working with local charities and community groups to provide key appliances and improving home energy efficiency.  Residents, especially pensioners, are encouraged to contact their local councils for available support.
