Application Deadline: 31st July 2024
Home Instead Charities UK strives to improve the lives of people over 55 by addressing loneliness and isolation, helping them remain active, healthy, and connected to their communities.
Funding is available to small local groups, grassroots community organisations, and small charities that support the mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of older adults.
There are two levels of funding:
- Up to £500 for small grassroots organisations.
- Up to £1,500 for small registered charities. Larger grants are available for exceptional projects.
Full funding is granted only if the applicant holds no more than three months’ operating costs in reserve. If an organisation has more than this, the charity will co-fund up to 50% of the project costs.
Funding applications are accepted four times a year: in January, April, July, and October.
