Please see the message below from Historic England:
Historic England is working with the New Citizenship Project to develop a new public engagement and communications strategy, and we want to co-create it with people interested in history, heritage and the historic environment.
Historic England’s aim is to encourage everyone to shape and champion England’s heritage, and so we are inviting people to share stories of things they’ve done to support historic places, from small, everyday things like championing the local pub, or park, to something big like saving a building from dereliction or demolition.
You can tell your story here: https://historicengland.org.uk/get-involved/your-stories/ – we are really keen to hear from as broad and diverse a group as possible. There is also an opportunity to sign up for a series of workshops in September and October to help draw on these stories to shape our approach to involving more people in taking action to support the historic environment. If you’d like to know more about these workshops then please get in touch with email@example.com
It only takes a couple of minutes to share a story and can be anything at all in support of history or heritage. We’re keen to hear from as many people as possible so please feel free to circulate this e-mail to anyone you think may be interested.
