Empowering young creatives through hands-on photography experiences!
This grant supports children and young adults (under 25) engaging with photography through structured activities that provide hands-on experience with various photographic techniques.
Funded projects must aim to enhance participants’ physical and/or mental health and well-being through creative expression. A variety of photography-based activities, whether a single workshop, an event, or a series of linked sessions may include:
- Guided outings with professional photographers to explore portrait and landscape photography (digital or film).
- Darkroom experiences, from film processing to printmaking.
- Creative experiments with cyanotypes, pinhole cameras, and alternative photographic techniques.
- Hands-on learning in printing techniques using different media.
