Fundraising Regulator Annual Complaints Report

The Fundraising Regulator has published its Annual Complaints Report, which tells the story of how the pandemic shaped complaints about charitable fundraising.

Data shows a 252% increase in complaints about online fundraising compared to the previous year.

But this activity appears to be relatively low risk, as the report finds that just one impression in nearly two million received a complaint.

Despite the challenges the sector faced during the pandemic, good fundraising practice prevailed, as overall the number of complaints across all methods was down on the previous year.
