Flexible working laws are changing

Employers will need to change how they manage flexible working requests from employees, as from 6 April 2024.

Flexible working enables employees the opportunity to work in a way that suits both the needs of the businesses and the employee’s. Options include, but are not limited to:

  • Job sharing
  • Remote working
  • Hybrid working
  • Part time
  • Compressed hours
  • Flexitime
  • Annualised hours
  • Staggered hours
  • Predictable hours or set shift pattern
  • Phased retirement
