The specifically aims of the Provider are to:
- Showcase Grimsby’s relationship with the Sea with a particular focus on seafood
- Be a great family day out
- Deliver content which showcases local skills and talents
- Deliver a market selling food, drinks and crafts from primarily local providers
- Bring businesses, educational establishments, community groups, heritage experts, creative individuals and arts organisations together
- Encourage people and organisations to find creative ways to highlight Grimsby’s seafood in an innovative and exciting way that appeals to both local and national audiences.
- Develop national and international links connecting Grimsby’s creativity with other places
- Secure funding to deliver the festival via a newly established fundraising strategy
