Made in Grimsby – short film screening Thursday 29 April 7pm
April 29 @ 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
From the The Culture House:
Grimsby-based arts organisation The Culture House invites you to the ‘premiere’ of its Made in Grimsby short film series, shining the spotlight on local creatives.
A strand of work developed in 2020, Made in Grimsby focusses on local talent, with four films having been produced so far featuring four creatives from the town.
The Made in Grimsby screening will take place on Thursday 29 April, at 7pm on Zoom and will last approximately 20minutes. There will also be a short introduction and additional time for any questions.
Supported by Arts Council England, since 2010 The Culture House has been on a mission to engage, excite and inspire people in North East Lincolnshire using creativity and culture.
While hosting quality touring work from national artists and performers at a range of events and festivals, the organisation also provides Grimsby-based talent with professional opportunities to either perform, or to participate in a variety of projects, from music events to artistic commissions.
Charlotte Bowen, Culture House director said: “While working to ensure Grimsby residents have access to the same cultural opportunities enjoyed in other parts of the country, we also champion and advocate for our brilliant local talent, believing strongly in Grimsby’s home-grown creativity.
“We absolutely value the importance of our local sector’s contribution to making Grimsby a more interesting and rewarding place to live.”
