Improving health and well-being outcomes for women in prison and upon their release

FREEThe National Women’s Prisons Health and Social Care Review (Women’s Review) is a partnership between NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I), and Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). Its purpose is to improve health and social care outcomes for women in prison and upon their release. It will report in Summer 2022.
Workshop objectives:
- To provide an update on the Women’s Review and emerging findings, to answer questions and hear feedback
- To hear from delegates about their own work and priorities for improving health and justice outcomes for women, including challenges
- To invite and encourage delegates to share positive practice examples from the own work.
