The Eranda Rothschild Foundation is a UK registered charitable trust that provides grants to a wide range of charities working in the fields of medical research, education and the arts within the UK.
There are three annual deadlines for applications: 30 April, 31 August and 31 December.
To be eligible, applicants must have work that addresses one of the following areas:
- Medical research – funding for original research and the continuation of existing research. (Welfare is also considered under the medical theme and here the priority is to support work well known to the Trustees.)
- Education – funding for universities and other charities to support young professionals in fields including medicine, science and business. Disadvantaged young people and apprenticeships are supported.
- Arts – funding to support the education and outreach work of arts charities and prioritise work which is well known to the Foundation.
