Empty Property Strategy Consultation

Empty and derelict property present problems to communities and place a strain on public services. They can become a focal point for issues such as fly-tipping, anti-social behaviour and other criminal activities.

This all places extensive demands on public services such as the Council, Police, Fire and Rescue.  This proposed strategy sets out the Councils intended approach to reduce the number of empty properties in the borough.
