From The Children’s Society’s Prevention Programme:
The Children’s Society’s Prevention Programme are working with the Home Office and the Department for Transport to identify exploitation and abuse concerns linked to Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles.
We have created a survey and are interested in hearing from all professionals who may be able to provide insight into the scale and nature of exploitation and the use of Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles.
The survey closes on Friday 26th March 2021.
We would like to capture the insights from as many people as possible. Please do circulate this to colleagues who you feel may have insights to share, including licensing teams, police, social care, education and staff working in children’s homes.
If you do have any work occurring within the Taxi service or transport to raise awareness of Child Exploitation and would like support with this do reach out and we will aim to support in any way we can.
