Counter Terrorism Local Profile (CTLP): information collection

from Humberside police relating to the collection of information for the CTLP:

The 2020/2021 CTLP is currently in the information collection phase, as stakeholders in previous years you may have received a constrained questionnaire in order to try and gain a meaningful insight into what terrorism and/or extremism feels like amongst professional partners active in our communities. This year we are hoping to approach communities direct in order to increase the coverage and data dividend, therefore a specific questionnaire to professionals is not going to be circulated this time.

However, if you have any information, observations or want to express an opinion on terrorism effecting the Humberside area, or have any initiatives/ideas to prevent terrorism then please contribute your thoughts and return it to the below Prevent contact address by the 10/11/20:

The key themes we are looking to gather local context on are:

  • Online Extremism
  • Increased Isolation/Grievance caused by the Covid Pandemic
  • Increasing Social Division or tensions
  • Challenges you face in prevent delivery
  • Any increasing trends, particularly around white supremacy/white nationalism
  • Any inflammatory group activity toward racial/religious issues
