Sent on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council:
North East Lincolnshire Council want to ensure that all of our cared for children and those supported with a Child Protection Plan, are able to be heard and for their views to be taken seriously in all decisions about them.
We are committed to creating a service that reflects best available practice (National Standards for the Provision of Children’s Advocacy Services) and want to ensure that it is tailored to work effectively within North East Lincolnshire.
With this in mind, you are invited to a workshop where the council and potential providers can collaborate in designing an efficient, effective and powerful service that helps ensure that every child is heard.
Following the workshop, we expect to refine our plans and then to publish an Invitation To Tender.
This workshop will be delivered on Microsoft Teams on Thursday, 19th May from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
Meeting details and the finalised programme will be sent to all delegates 2 weeks prior.
The cost of attending this event is free.
This event is aimed at organisations that may want to deliver our Independent Advocacy Service. If you’re reading this and this invite isn’t for you, please send it to the right person, or contact me to talk about who might be the right person from your organisation to attend.
If you have any questions about the process please contact claire.parfrement@nelincs.gov.uk.
