The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) published guidance on getting an extra payment to help with the cost of living for those entitled to certain benefits or tax credits.
Individuals do not need to apply, if they’re eligible, they’ll be paid automatically. The payments are not taxable and will not affect the benefits or tax credits you get.
