Deadline 31st December 2020
Hull: Yorkshire’s Maritime City (H:YMC) is a £30 million regeneration project to reinterpret the city’s maritime past, using an extraordinary resource including historic buildings, collections, ships and people to tell the story of Hull’s contribution to the past and highlight the City’s maritime future. The project is jointly funded by Hull City Council (HCC) and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
A key element of this project will be the conservation, renovation and refurbishment of two of Hull’s most iconic and historic ships, The Arctic Corsair trawler and The Spurn Light Vessel. HCC is now looking to appoint a contractor to undertake the sensitive conservation work required to ensure that these ships can continue to tell their stories for the next hundred years and more.
