Grants are available to support the core costs of running Ofcom-licensed community radio stations in the UK that are currently broadcasting.
Eligible expenditure will be that related to core functions including:
- Fundraising to support the station (eg grants and commercial funding).
- Management.
- Administration.
- Financial management and reporting.
- Community outreach.
- Volunteer organisation and support.
The funding is intended to help further a station’s financial stability and future sustainability. Therefore proposals to promote long-term financial security and posts which could become self-sustaining are viewed more favourably than applications for other support roles.
