Grants are available to churches and registered Christian charities to support their outreach work with Ukrainian and Afghan refugees in England.
Funding must be for specific projects or activities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Providing basic needs such as safe accommodation, clothing, food, mobile phones, baby care items and hygiene items.
- Helping with settlement into life in England via UK life courses, befriending, English language classes, baby and toddler groups, welcome parties and drop-in sessions.
- Providing safe spaces and networks of support.
- expenses for volunteers or facilities such as rental costs of church halls/buildings, refreshments for volunteers, equipment, training and DBS Checks
Grants of £500 to £5,000 are available.
