Changing Futures: Changing Systems to Support Adults Experiencing Multiple Disadvantage

The government funding is available to local partnerships to help adults across England facing multiple disadvantages like homelessness and mental health issues.

The Changing Futures programme will bring together a selection of local areas that are committed to working with government and with each other over an initial two-year period (2021/22 to 2022/23) to improve outcomes for people experiencing multiple disadvantage.

Grant funding of up to £15,000 will be available for shortlisted areas in year one (2020/21) to develop a more detailed delivery plan in partnership with the central government programme team.

areas will work with adults experiencing three or more of the following five:

  1. Homelessness
  2. Substance misuse
  3. Mental health issues
  4. Domestic abuse
  5. Contact with the criminal justice system.
