STEPP UP: Self-development Programme

The hosts are excited to announce the STEPP UP programme, starting November 2025 at West Marsh Family Hub and Immingham Family Hub.

This 12-week course is designed for anyone over 18, offering a path to training or work while helping build confidence.

National Fitness Day: Get Moving September 18th

National Fitness Day, the UK’s largest health and fitness campaign by ukactive’s activity finder, is on 18th September 2024. The theme is “Your Health is for Life,” promoting physical, social, and mental well-being at all life stages.

On this day, sports clubs, gyms, leisure centers, schools, workplaces, and online platforms across the UK will offer free activities, encouraging everyone to try something new and get active.

If you use a physical immigration document, like a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), to prove your status and don’t yet have a UKVI account, now is a great time to create one to access your eVisa.

Young Minds: Parent Helpline and Mental Health

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for young people’s mental health.

They offer a free national Helpline service for any parent or carer concerned about a young person aged 0-25. They provide translation services in over 200 languages and comprehensive resources on the Parent and Carer section of their website.

A&E Navigtors

The Blue Door’s new Navigators Project helps individuals aged 11-35 in North & North East Lincolnshire who come through to A&E with violence-related injuries (family, partner, community violence, or sexual assault).

Navigators will design personalised support plans, connecting those individuals to services and providing follow-up care after discharge.

The attached information leaflet is available for those seeking immediate or future support.

Navigo Parent-Infant Relationship Service

The new Navigo Parent-Infant Relationship service called Growing Well Together, supports parents/ carers and babies at the earliest opportunity.

The service is aimed at families accessing services universally or at a lower level than children’s social care, so if you have any families that have some emerging or lower level worries about the parent-infant relationships please do consider this service.

Practitioners with any parent-infant relationship queries (baby up to age 2 years) are encouraged to access bookable consultation slots on 01472 252570 or by email: navigo.growingwelltogether@nhs.net

Navigo can support with completing the referral form during these consultations. They can also come to teams and offer regular face to face consultation slots in team if this would be helpful.
