No deadline but the programme will close as soon as there are enough applications to ensure the funds are spent.
Funding is available to charities and not-for-profit organisations in England for work that will relieve the hardship caused by the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic among refugees and asylum seekers and by migrants experiencing barriers to accessing services.
The maximum grant available is £50,000 or three months’ expenditure, whichever is less.
You can apply if:
- Your organisation is a charity, company limited by guarantee or a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee registered in England with:
- an income of between £10,000 and £1 million in your most recent year of operations;
- at least three unrelated Trustees or, if you are a company, a Board with a majority of Directors (at least three unrelated) with no financial interest in the company.
- Your organisation’s main purpose and activities are to support asylum seekers, refugees or migrants. If you are not sure whether or not you are eligible please email us on email@example.com telling us your organisation’s name, a brief description of what you do and attaching your governing document. We will respond within two working days.
